  1. One of the greatest threats to freedom to choose has been the firebombing of abortion clinics and such to raise insurance rates such that running an abortion or family planning clinic that includes abortion services is made cost prohibitive to many. It also adds a level of danger that discourages competitive hiring of staff and providers.

In addition, security services add further costs.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is one of those organizations who brought my attention to these practices and one that I used to make regular contributions to because they were protecting my views.

Somewhere along the way however SPLC seemed to go mainstream as opposed to protecting my rights. It is my view that any good intention can go corrupt when it is taken on by overblown government. Furthermore, I was disturbed by the implications in the media and promoted by SPLC that the Oklahoma City bombing was connected to the Right-to-Lifers, racists, or anti-homosexual elements–and am convinced that it wasn’t thanks to the fine reporting of one historian, writer, and wit, Gore Vidal. Nor was I convinced that the Waco or Ruby Ridge raids were protecting my freedoms. These are events from my memory and I’m not providing links. Youngsters are on their own.

Currently it is reported in numerous outlets that SPLC calls A Voice For Men a terrorist group which turns out not to be true. However, it is apparent that many members of the organization are hostile to Men’s Human Rights Activists as I experienced first hand within comments on a biased article on the Elliot Rodgers incident on their website.

Will these MHRA be allowed to assemble in Detroit for their conference? Not if certain feminist terrorist groups have their say. They have sent threats to the hotel–threatening their staff. These threats have required the hotel to require the event organizers to pay for very expensive security procedures.

Here’s the letter from the hotel: http://www.avoiceformen.com/wp-content/uploads/site…

At some point, I predict, male-bashing will be less tolerated than it is today and the feminist movement’s parallels to Hitler’s Nazis will be recognized. I hope that when that day comes we aren’t policing people’s private conversations for anything “feminist” in order to persecute them or marginalize them from earning opportunities. If that day comes, I hope that I will continue to advocate for human rights and free speech even if I find the ideology irrational and hateful. Today, however, I condemn the actions of those bad feminists and anyone who unquestioningly parrots their ideology.

While it may be true that Not All Feminists Are Like That, I’m sure there were good Nazis too. Good little Nazis who are oh so obedient to their rhetoric certainly could never do anything so bad as to kill or injure a hotel employee for the crime of working in a hotel which is hosting a Men’s Conference.

However, what a good little Nazi will do is cry “rape” when there’s a Jew lurking around. For the greater good of course.

  2. You i’m sure are quite needy to be validated by your fellow men.No wonder u support the MRM. Before calling the Feminism a terrorist organization, look what MRM has done. Are you naive or are you threatened by women around doing better when you are not. I am a proud feminist and i’m a man. How could u possibly be against feminism being a woman. Do even know what it means. U seem to be cherry picking instances of the extreme form of feminism and then quoting them down. For what ? Gaining approval of men. U are sick. I have utmost respect for women but women like you are the ones that laugh when other women get victimized. Why don’t you move around more? Move in third world countries and then tell me feminism is not required.

MRM is nothing but a bunch of needy misogynists having multiple issues with the progress of a women. And you too are a part of this obnoxious bandwagon. If tomorrow u get raped or ur mom gets raped or ur daughter gets raped, what do u think. The MRM will come to ur rescue. NO.Infact they will blame u for getting raped. I was an active member of the MRM at Australia and i regret joining it because sadly the movement has NOTHING to do with men’s rights. It’s a bloody terrorist group that brainwashed us against womaen and u lady are a part of it. SHAME.

  3. Let me quote here –
“while there are aspects of MRA that are worth bringing to light, as a movement it can suck a good man down a rabbit hole of resentment. It is backward-looking and pining for good old days that never were.

Are there some problems with specific instances of unequal treatment? Yes. Is there some anti-male sentiment out there? Yeah, that happens too. But turning these issues into a movement is laughable. It is a like a multi-millionaire who whines that a tax loophole was closed and he’s losing 0.5% of his annual income.

Men, especially white men, aren’t marginalized, we aren’t under attack, and we not in danger of losing the overwhelming privileges society bestows upon us for having pale skin and a penis. However, MRAs have been described as whining children by the women they call “feminist bitches.”
So to any man who feels like he’s getting caught up in such a movement because they feel emasculated or are just having trouble relating to women and perhaps sympathizing with Elliot Rodger, I will tell you this: Life isn’t fair. Life is NOT fair.

Women will judge you. Some will judge you based on your appearance, your height, your width, you genitalia, your wealth, your car, your clothes, your acne. In other words, they will judge you the exact same way you judge them.

We all know that men’s rights activists are insecure — that’s pretty much the only thing the rest of the world agrees with them on. If you go to /MensRights, /TheRedPill, or any pickup artist or anti-pickup artist blogs, you’ll see people promising to help them be better as men. It’s an open invitation to celebrate manliness, like they’re the last place on Earth where you can still talk about guns and boobs and tanks and video games. But it’s a trick, because that’s not what these places are really about. Check out the very first sentence on a list of the Red Pill’s “fundamental beliefs”:

Feminists claim they want equality but what they really want is power without responsibility.

Weird … that doesn’t have anything to do with men at all — it’s about women. Let’s keep going:

Women are irrational and inconsistent. … A logical woman is easily baited into becoming emotional; women are easy to compromise.

Women are Machiavellian in nature, this means they are comparatively proficient at being manipulative versus the typical male.

Women love pragmatically and have no capacity to love unconditionally for romantic partners.Yes, this shit is internally contradictory and sexist as fuck, but more importantly, it has nothing to do with men. There’s no waxing poetic on the joys of fatherhood, the majesty of a properly groomed beard, or the exquisite joy of scratching your own balls; it’s all just variations of “fuck dem bitches” and “amiright!?” It’s not an ideology, it’s just them feeling bad about themselves and directing that hatred elsewhere … which is exactly how a hate group works. And that’s not just my opinion.”

    BLOODY BUNCH OF LOSERS!

    • Thank you so much for coming to my blog and posting your lengthy comments. Thanks to you, I’ve seen the error of my ways. My world travel, my living in The Third World, my considerable life experience, my twenty year professional career in a male dominated field, my lifelong study of feminist ideology, my multiple instances of rape and other forms of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse, all mean nothing, because finally, you have come into my life and shown me the way. You, a stranger, based on some obviously trivial yet unattributed source from which you quote and which to you characterizes an entire movement have wholly interpreted my motivations, experience, and wrongheaded thinking. Thanks to you, I’ll become a feminist again solely in order to ensure that men like you are properly educated and otherwise endowed with a more perfect set of slogans. How generous you are with your rambling, incoherent tripe, and otherwise a perfect specimen of the results of social engineering ideology of all sorts. What an asset you are to Feminism and feminists who are doubtless grateful for your perfect compliance and for so thoroughly objectifying and humiliating a mean old honey badger such as myself. They are certain to bestow their highest honors upon thee.

  4. I’m a lawyer in Boston so don’t tell me what you have done and seen because if i tell you what all has been done to people in the name of MRM is ridiculous. In fact there has been a rise in cases against MRA’s and rightfully so because no form and i mean no form of violence will be tolerated against people just because some MRA’a are so frustrated. Anyway my point is, the United States is seriously considering banning the MRM and mind you it will happen sooner than u guys think. Till then do all the bashing, because after that u guys will be in deep trouble. As for you don’t take offence , i just stated what i felt of your post which was very one sided by the way. And yes u need to go the third world to discover how badly they need feminism. There u might hang your head in shame.

  5. I had a discussion earlier about feminism and the Men’s Rights Movement. I do not support MRA’s, because they are largely a hate group. Too many MRA’s are fine with threatening women with rape and violence and do nothing more productive than troll feminist groups. I don’t think they’ll ever do otherwise. For one, all of their legitimate grievances, such as the fact that women get custody of children more often than men when it comes to divorce, are also concerns to feminists. Feminists actually lobby to change these laws and practices, but MRA’s seem to be too busy blaming them on feminism to do anything. And for another, the best known MRA groups/representatives are all very extreme and make it difficult for moderate MRA’s to accomplish more than legitimizing a hate group. They don’t, likely because they aren’t able to, make the group more agreeable or more productive. As such, I can’t see the Men’s Rights Movement changing.

I’ve heard it said that feminism is as bad as the Men’s Rights Movement. I couldn’t disagree more. Are there feminists who are too extreme and make the movement look bad? Yes, and I think they get too much press. Too many people think that feminists hate men and burn bras. Some do, but most don’t. Despite common preconceptions, the radical feminists are a minority. And it is easy to find evidence of this. Most online feminist groups focus on gender equality. Most recent feminist actions were focused on keeping abortion safe and legal and encouraging consent education to deal with rape culture. These are not the actions of radical feminists.

I’ve heard people say that if feminism wants to deal with gender equality, then it should have a name that reflects that goal. But that is a problematic claim. When those of African decent were fighting for their rights in North America, they were fighting for equal rights. Yet the movement was named for the African American people and not simply for equal rights. This is because they were the ones who were being oppressed. They had to be given rights to match those who already had the rights. It’s a similar case with the Gay Rights Movement. The LGBTQ community was fighting for equal rights, but the movement was named for the people who were being oppressed. Feminism is the same: feminists want equal rights, but it is the feminine members of society who are being oppressed. It is women who need to get the rights that men already have. And no, feminism is not redundant now. Equality has not yet been achieved. Not just for feminism, but for all three groups that I mentioned. I hope that one day equality will have been achieved.
